Case | TONG LING, ANHUI

1. Project Background
A large duck farm in Tong Ling, Anhui, finishes >500 000 ducks per year, producing ≈30 t of fresh manure daily. Open-air stockpiles created odour, flies and regulatory fines. Management decided to “treat the source” with a closed, high-efficiency composting solution.
2. Jiesonglin Solution

In 2022 we installed six 400 m³ e-PTFE membrane composting units. The system follows an “collect → mix → on-site ferment → on-site reuse” workflow:
- Loader feeds duck manure plus rice-husk & sawdust bulking agents
- Piles covered with gas-permeable nanomembrane
- Automated aeration & temperature control
- Sealed leachate collection, zero run-off

3. Measurable Results
| KPI | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Compost cycle | 60 days | 25 days |
| Odour / flies | Complaints & fines | >99 % reduction |
| Fertiliser output | 0 | 4 000 t y⁻¹ organic fertiliser |
Finished humus is applied to the farm’s orchards and vegetables; surplus is sold locally—turning a cost centre into a profit stream.
4. Customer Testimonial
“Duck manure used to be a headache—now it’s black gold.
The membrane composter passed our environmental audit with ease and creates an extra fertiliser revenue stream while saving land, labour and money.”
